VIDA DE UNA MUJER MUERTA
(LIFE OF A DEAD WOMAN.
Carmen García Bartolomé, 2007

People who, due to their body, think that dying is sad, have already ceased to live.
Kazuo Ohno

The girl with a pony tail is a character who lives after dying and who uses the animated sequence to show us her life.
Animation allows her to transform and to even disappear, to question the non linear time and to play with space by passing from the plane to the three dimensional.
She will transform herself into Ojáncana to travel to Peru, in her pre-historic lover’s kitchen he will bring the hunt and she will smile. She will go out carrying the red armchair on her back to satisfy her hopes before solitude and she will end up burning herself with her own work in the search for a continuity never getting to the full stop.

As a creator I simply follow her along.
